Know your beggars
How sure are you that the person coming to your door is genuine? Well, it’s hard to know really but I suppose this section may help you to identify who the habitual beggars are and also alert you to possible scammers operating in the Lenasia area (Keep in mind we are not saying anything about the legitimacy of these individuals, we are merely placing their details here for your information and maybe for your comment)
- The begging for school excursion scam
I have had two of these in the past week, with a lovely letter full of grammatical errors written by the so called school principal, the second time I decided to call the school up. The number on the letter didnt exist and the fax number went to a lady in Protea South who didnt know anything about a school,
here are some pics of the letter and the beggar in question:

Excursion Letter Beggar

The "Forte" School letter
Update: I found the schools real number and they dont know anything about this supposed excursion, the letterhead is actually forged and the digits changed on the telephone numbers, if you see this person please confiscate the letter immediately and contact us as we are in contact with the school or call the school directly on 0119888240, ask to speak to a lady by the name of Khumo.
