Voter in disarray in Lenasia
Sophie Maleke of Thembelihle informal settlement in Lenasia,having arrived at her local voting station withstanding the cold at 05:30 in the morning,was sad when her name could not be found on the voters roll.Being the first to arrive at the voting station she was unfortunately not the first to vote as officials were scrambling to find her name.
“I was sad when they couldn’t find my name. I thought I was not going to vote after braving the early morning biting cold,” the 57-year-old mother said.
